Interesting. Reminds me of a Simpsons episode where Reverend Lovejoy asks Homer if he has ever read the bible. "Turns out we aren't even allowed to go to the bathroom."
This kind of rigidity has to place people in a constant no-win situation that must be a very scary place to live.
