Bush's foreign and domestic policies have not represented the Christian worldview that Baylor attempts to project. It would be embarassing for a moderate Baptist university to have a public policy school named after someone who flagrantly violated the tenets of just war theory, which is the closest the Great Tradition gets to a uniformly "Christian" view of public policy. In the long run, Baylor is much better off without this burden.

Is the handwriting on the wall for America? Yes it is. But that does not mean there is nothing we can do.
